The House of Paint event was held on the 11th of September, Saturday, from around twelve in the afternoon until nine at night under the Bronson bridge near Carleton University. Graffiti artists showed up early to get a head start on their pieces. The underside of the bridge was divided into sections with scaffolding to allow the artists access to the higher sections on the wall. Three well known Canadian DJs provided the tunes for the break dancing competition which was held under the bridge on a temporary dance floor. I will try to upload some more photos of the art over the next week. They gave me a photojournalist pass at the event which allowed me to get up high on the scaffolding to take photos, so I got some more good stuff on the way. It was an amazing show altogether, a must see. Be there next year.
